About One Flock Books

One Flock Books is an independent bilingual publishing ministry founded by Rubén and Nohra Rodríguez. The collection features six original picture books retelling Jesus’ parables for children ages 3–8, illustrated with richly detailed, historically grounded original artwork set in the world of first-century Israel.

Each book is published in both English and Spanish, rooted in sound Christian doctrine, and designed for family devotionals, Sunday school, homeschool, summer camp, and VBS. Accompanying Faith Starter Kits include coloring pages, finger puppets, activity sheets, vocabulary cards, scripture memory exercises, and prayer prompts.

The Authors

Rubén Rodríguez is the author and illustrator of the One Flock Books collection. A father of three with a deep passion for Biblical truth and original art, Rubén created this collection to give families a beautiful, doctrinally sound resource for teaching children the words of Jesus.

Nohra Bernal is co-founder of One Flock Books, editor, and collaborates in the creative and ministry vision of the collection.

Together, Rubén and Nohra bring a combined love of faith, family, and visual storytelling to everything One Flock Books creates.
